Hello everybody!!!! Once the Sun Played an amazing show with friends Orphonic Orchestra and The Ottoman Empire this past Friday and it was a blast!!!!!!!! To all of you who came out to support us local fellas, thank you!!!!!!!!!!!! To those of you who missed us, stay tuned, because we are going to take a small break from playing out to do some new song writing, and record some more material. Once the Sun would like to thanks everybody for supporting our music by buying "Shadows" and coming out to our shows. As you can see, the website has been re-vamped so be sure to stop back often to check the pages for new info, for instance, the lyrics page will be being updated with the lyrics from the album "Shadows" within the next week. Also, pretty soon, we will be redoing our gallery page so you can look for more photos of yours truly, as well as setting up a link on how and where to buy Once the Sun's music and/or other merchandise!!! Again, to everybody, WE COULD NOT HAVE GOTTEN THIS FAR WITHOUT YOU!!!!!

Once the Sun played the TAALS Benefit last night. If you were at the Coach House Grill, you ROCK!!! Our thanks to NaughtyRob for his help with the gear. It felt good to play again. Thanks to Phil from TAALS, Jim from the Coach House, and Neverstatic for giving us the opportunity to play. It was definitely for a good cause. Just as well, Gilbert Brown (if you don't know who he is, stop reading.....now) was there to support "Team All About Alexis" (TAALS) as he did last year, and told us on our video camera, that we are "DA BOMB.....DA BOMB!!!!" Look for that one on our myspace soon. Well, that's all for now.

Hey Everybody!!!!  Once the Sun has some great shows coming up in June!!!!  This Friday, June 1st, Once the Sun takes to the stage with midwest favorites LOCKJAW and 9mm SOLUTION!!!!  Check the shows page for details!!!!  We also have a great show on June 9th at Washington Park playing the 2007 BANDSLAM BATTLE ROYALE sponsored by the SHEPHERD EXPRESS.  Once The Sun should be on stage around 3:30-4:00 p.m.  Check the shows page for details.  The Bandslam gives us a chance to get on the ever elusive Summerfest grounds to play for everybody down there.  That would be awesome right???  Then come on down to these next two shows and show your support for ONCE THE SUN!!!!

Hello again everybody. Been a while. We got some great shows coming up!!!! Although it wasn't posted here, Once the Sun just got a taste of being outside of South-eastern Wisconsin and got a chance to play Green Bay. That rocked!!! Anyways, unfortunately, due to some technical difficulties, our upcoming EP "Shadows" has yet again, been delayed. We are all very sorry for the inconvenience, and trust us, this is burning us up more than you can imagine. Keep hope alive, for the music will be out very soon. Thanks to our fans, friends and family, for their support and patience in this matter. We will let everybody know what is going on ASAP!!!!

Hello Everybody!!! We got some more great shows coming up and would like to see everybody out at them!!! On Dec. 9th, Once the Sun is working in conjunction with Carbellion, Nomonic, The Gopher One, and the U.S. Marines to bring a hopefully bountiful second year of the awesome Charity known as "Toys for Tots". This charity helps give children who need a little extra, a fantastic Christmas!!! The cover is nothing to shy away from either: A $5(or more) unopened toy is all you need to enter (21+ of course). This is a great time of year and this all goes towards a really, really good cause. Hope to see everybody there!!!

Hello again everybody!!! Once the Sun joins forces with friends and guests Recoil and Denova this weekend, Nov. 18th at LIVE on Milwaukee's eastside for a extremely awesome show!!! Details on the shows page. However, i did forget to tell everyone that a FREE DRINK TICKET is issued to everybody after paying the cover charge which is $5. Hope to see everybody there!!!

Once the Sun also wanted to take the opportunity to pay tribute to "Papa Steve" Steven H. Keller who tragically passed away on 11-9-06 in a motorcycle accident. He was a great supporter of our music. We will miss you Papa Steve!!! Thank-you for everything!!!

The website is back up!!! We sincerely apologize to anyone who could not access the site. There were technical difficulties out of our hands.
The studio is done. Tracks such as Sustenance, The Stage, and These Tears will all be included on this 7-song ep tenatively untitled for the moment. This has been a moment we have all been looking forward to telling everybody for quite a while. At present, we are looking at a late december release, so stay tuned.
As everybody probably already knows, Once the Sun and Robert Valadez have decided to part ways. Both parties mutually decided this and we hope the very best for Robert.
This unfortunate event has already started to spark a few whispers in the masses so to dissolve the rumors, we wanted to let everybody know that Once the Sun is growing stronger by the day and we have NO INTENTION of stopping for any reason whatsoever.
We all look forward to playing for all of you again and hope to catch some of you down in Waukesha on Nov. 3rd for a great show with Strangeland and Marachino at the Main Stage. Further details on the shows page. Hope to see everybody soon. Until then, keep rockin' (always wanted to say that)!!!

STUDIO UPDATE!!!!!

We just wanted to let everybody know that all the instruments are done!!!!! There are 4 songs that need vocals recorded and then it's off to editing, mixing and mastering!!!! Stay tuned for an official album name and release date!!!

Hi Everybody,

Once the Sun played an amazing benefit for Autism on Oct. 7th and it has been brought to our attention that the show was a success!! We wanted to take this opportunity to thank EVERYBODY that pledged their support for Mackenzie Loose. We also wanted to thank all of the bands starting from 9in no particular order): Orphonic Orchestra, Swamp Molli, Terri and Pete, Salvage, Nomonic, and Shades of Sorrow. We also wanted to thank the band Nurse for trucking up here all the way from Indiana to show their support and play some great music. Most of these bands can be seen floating around www.myspace.com as well as us, Once the Sun. So thank you everybody!!!!!!!

Although this is a little belated, Rock to Relieve against MS (which we played on the 8th with our good friends Orphonic Orchestra) raised over $1000 that night and we all wanted to take the opportunity to say thank you for your support!!! Once the Sun has taken third place in round 4 of the Emergenza Festival.  We are all very happy with this and wanted to take this opportunity to say THANK-YOU!!! to everybody who continually comes out to support us.  We would also like to say thanks to all the other bands that we played with as well as a much deserved Congratulations! to Sunshine Harrison for taking first.  We hope Chicago ends up being just a pit stop to Germany guys!!
